    Memorial Day: Closure of the Consulate Monday, May 27

    The French Consulate will be closed on February 18, 2019 in observance of Memorial Day.
    Our teams will be ready to welcome you on Tuesday, May 28 at the usual schedule hours.

    On May 16, Consul General Arnaud Mentré visited Maine

    He started his trip at the Maine State House in Augusta to celebrate the 17th Annual Franco-American Day.
    The Maine Legislature held a joint session in the House of Representatives to recognize the Franco-American heritage evident throughout the state. Eleven citizens were inducted into the Franco-American Hall of Fame during formal legislative ceremonies.

    Massachusetts Lafayette Day 2019

    On May 17th, 2019, we celebrated the annual Massachusetts Lafayette Day. This traditional celebration, which dates back to 1935, pays special tribute to General Lafayette, who fought alongside George Washington for the freedom and Independence of the United States. Every year, we celebrate the long-lasting French-American Friendship through a tribute to Lafayette.

    Spectacle ColoricocoLEX: Changeons le monde!

    The French Department at William Diamond Middle School is proud to present their second original musical production called ColoricocoLEX Changeons le monde produced and directed in collaboration by Franco-Togolese artist Brice Kapel, choreographer Gladia Marchetti and Diamond’s own French teachers Christine Goulet, Diletta Ferrai and Elisabeth Passeri.

    French Historian, Patrick Boucheron was in New England this week.

    On April 29, 2019, renowned French medieval historian and history professor at Collège of France, Patrick Boucheron, led a conference at Harvard University on April 29, 2019 for the US publication of "France in the World: A new global history".

    The Café des Entrepreneurs aims at sharing one’s experience, stimulating new career prospects and promoting closer ties between the business actors of the New-England ecosystem.

    Every two month, come listen to an entrepreneur’s adventure and experience in New England and discover start ups by listening to their elevator pitches.

    The Café des Entrepreneurs was created in 2013 by a team of French business partners based in Boston: The Consulate general of France in Boston, The French-American Chamber of Commerce in New England (FACCNE), The French Foreign Trade Advisers (CCEF), The French Tech Hub and Business France.
