18 French start ups to visit the U.S
NETVA, New Technology Venture Accelerator, choose 18 French startups to seize business opportunites and create technological partnerships in the United States. The start ups will visit one of the following tech hubs in North America; San Francisco, Boston, Washington D.C and Toronto, Canada. The start ups will also connect with a local mentor in oder to facilitate lasting relationships in North America.
The objective of this opportunity is:
1. Develop academic and technology partnerships with significant added value
2. Acquire expertise in the U.S. and Canada innovation market
3. Analyze growth opportunities in the North American market
The following startups will take part in this program here in Boston:
Cocolico; An online clothing store that has developed a tool allowing clients to design their own unique piece of clothing.
EHTech: A innovative tool to cutt your water heating bill by three times with Obox.
Idexlab : an online platform developed to allow exchange and collaboration between scientific and technical experts.
Springwave is commercializing a well-being drink made with natural mineral water and micro-algae.
XRWare aims at building a true software leader for all X-RAY manufacturers and users.
The winners all attended a training day in Paris at Microsoft France. This day was dedicated to the development of overseas opportunities and necessary tools to break into the North American market. American and Canadian entrepreneurs and development specialists were present, gave testimonies and discussed their experiences.
The start ups will then come to their assigned cities for an immersian week, sometime between September and December of this year, 2015.
