Annual Francofête Celebration at the Providence Art Club

JPEG Two days after the raising of the Francophone flag at the State House of Providence, the Alliance Francaise of Providence along with the American Association of Teachers of French, the Museum of Work and Culture, the French-American School and the French Consulate in Boston, organized the annual Francofête at the Providence Art Club with world-class singer and musician Eric John Kaiser.

After a lovely cocktail hour featuring a pianist from Louisiana, the more than one hundred guests in attendance were greeted by Flavien Collet, Director of the Alliance Française of Providence, and Anne Miller, Cultural Attaché of the Consulate General of France.

JPEG Guests then danced along to the French tunes of Eric John Kaiser, who performed a mixture of his own original compositions and traditional French songs. Party goers also had the chance to participate in a raffle, the proceeds of which benefited the Alliance Française of Providence.
