Francophonie 2016: Success of Voyage en Francophonie!
On Saturday 03/12, Lexington-Antony Sister Cities and EFGB held «Voyages en francophonie” at the Cary memorial Building in Lexington, Massachusetts which was a great success with 1800 attendees!
At Lexington, The Consul General of France in Boston Valery Freland visited the 9 countries represented at the Francophone fair – Belgique, Cambodia, Canada, France, Haïti, Liban, Maroc, Monaco and Seychelles, and was glad to celebrate with them the variety of the francophone world! Along with the Consule General of France in Boston, 1800 people attended this event which aimed to celebrate the diversity of the Francophone world.
A lot of fun activities such as story time, jumbé, make up lessons, etc, were also organized for kids and families. The rap singer from Quebec Webster worked with EFGB students a song that they presented on stage. French gastronomy was also represented by Paul (bakery), Let’s Tart, MA France and more!
