Goût de/Good France - Deadline December, 20!
On the eve of spring, March 19, 2015, 1000 chefs from all five continents will be gathered to celebrate French food during the Goût de / Good France event. Each dinner served in participating restaurants will honor the merit of French cuisine, its capacity for innovation, and its values: sharing, enjoying, and respecting the well-being of its contemporaries, as well as of the environment.
In 1912, Auguste Escoffier started Les Dîners d’Épicure (Epicurean Diners): one day, one menu, served in many cities of the world, to as many guests as possible. In 2015, Goût de/Good France takes the idea further, bringing all categories of restaurants from all around the world together. This event will mark one of the first concrete demonstration of French cuisine’s recent listing in the "world intangible heritage" by UNESCO, and its influence on the world.
From fine dining to quality bistro food, in an effort to bring diversity, all chefs are invited to participate to this great event, and register online, on the Goût de/Good France website...The Deadline for Registration is December 20: http://int.rendezvousenfrance.com/en/gout-france-good-france/rubric/70059/be-part-gout-good-france
