Head of the Charles Regatta

On Saturday and Sunday, October 19 and 20, Cambridge witnessed its 48th edition of the Head of the Charles Regatta, an event that assembles rowers from top American universities, world championship teams, and Olympic games. Two French crew delegations, Paris (French Rowing) and another from Nancy (Pôle France Aviron Nancy), represented the best French rowers in every possible category at the competition. These pair of teams would round out the top-5 as each of them finished with times of 14:43.23 and 14:47.92, respectively.

After the regatta on Sunday afternoon, the General Consul of France in Boston hosted a reception for the teams at the French Residence in Cambridge. The Consul congratulated the teams on their excellent performance and thanked them for representing their country with dignity.
