Welcome to the new season of France Tech Insight. We hope you enjoyed your summer and you are ready for a rich series of our monthly newsletter introducing the latest updates in science and technology innovation in France.
As the aim of FTI is to keep the contact with our closest partners in New-England, we would be more than delighted to receive your suggestions and comments and to answer your questions.
In the news this month you will learn about all of our major programs, and notably the 2009 edition of our flagship conference French American Innovation Day (December 3-4, 2009). Moreover, the Young Entrepreneur Initiative is lauching its 2009-2010 call for proposals... so, if you are an outstanding entrepreneur seeking for development opportunities in France, just apply now !
Eventually, we would like to introduce you today to our new program, NETVA. The New-England Technology Venture Accelerator, to be launched in October, will take a group of the most promising French start-ups and accelerate their developement in the US through an intensive 2 weeks training and business program in Boston.
This month, our "Innovation Actor" is Altran, the leading Innovation and technology consulting group in Europe. Altran is a comprehensive consulting company whose subsidiairy "Cambridge Consultants" is our partner on the YEI program.
And, like every month, you will find the lastest updates in French science, technology and innovation. Check out the new section dedicated to challenging job offers in France and Europe. In the following editions of FTI, some emphasis will be put on this.
