JPEGIntellectual historian Franois Dosse will give a speech on the relationship and interactions between two major figures of the contemporary French intellectual world: philosopher Gilles Deleuze and psychotherapist Flix Guattari. After meeting in 1969, they produced several fundamental philosophic works together.

Dosse is professor at the IUFM Crteil, the Institut d’tudes politiques de Paris, and the Centre d’histoire culturelle des socits contemporaines de l’universit Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines. He is the author of numerous books including a two-volume history of structuralism.
