May 14, 2012 - 6:30 to 8:30pm

JPEG"Le Café Français" is a networking event for teachers and professors that offers them a chance to meet each other and discuss teaching practices.

After a 30-minute lecture on a subject relevant to France and a Q&A session with the speaker, teachers are invited to socialize for an hour over French wine and hors d’oeuvres.

This time, we will have the opportunity to listen to Olivier Saint-Vincent, Philosophy Professor at the International School of Boston, who will explore the condition of women in 17th century France through two literary works: Molière’s masterpiece L’Ecole des Femmes and an anonymous erotic novel, L’Ecole des Filles.

For more information and to RSVP, please contact Aurélien d’Avout before May 9th.
