PARTNER UNIVERSITY FUND 2015-Call for Proposals (deadline: 02/15/15)

PARTNER UNIVERSITY FUND 2015 - Call for Proposals

Established in 2007 as a collaboration between the French government, American private donors and the FACE Foundation, the Partner University Fund is dedicated to amplifying the potential of the brightest French and American scholars by supporting educational and research partnerships between higher education institutions in both countries. PUF supports partnerships developed in all disciplinary fields.

Application Deadline: February 15, 2015
PUF Grantee List Released: June 2015, for the academic year 2015-2016

The Program encourages collaborations across fields of study, among two or more American and French institutions, and supports training and research at Master’s, doctoral and post-doctoral levels. Since its creation, PUF has supported 71 partnerships involving more than 80 French and American institutions.
The Program issues and administers a yearly call for proposals. In selecting grantees, the PUF team favors collaborations that foster international educational exchanges, create joint degree programs or joint training courses, or propose joint research projects.

Partnerships forged between American and French institutions are supported for one year and are renewable for a total period of 3 years.
The Program co-finances 30% of the project costs, to a maximum of $50,000 per year. Thanks to a partnership with the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, selected Humanities projects are eligible for supplemental support. The Program will finance up to 60% of these project costs, providing up to $100,000 per year in funds.
