The Young Enterprise Initiative (YEi) is seeking applicants!

Then apply to the Young Entrepreneurs Initiative (YEi)! YEi is a non-profit accelerator run by the French Embassy in the U.S. that aims to help you develop your business internationally. YEi offers to the selected laureates intensive training in the U.S. and in Paris with a one-week immersion France. There, laureates will be benefit from a large, customized professional network for connections to the French and European markets.

The benefits of doing business in France are numerous. In fact, 31 out of the world’s top 500 companies are French, and Paris hosts the largest concentration of Fortune 500 companies in the world after Tokyo. France has the best research tax credit in Europe covering 30% of all R&D costs up to €100 million and 5% above this threshold. Those doing business in France benefit from The European Single Market which boasts more than 500 million consumers with high purchasing power and France’s highly skilled and productive workforce: France is ranked second in Europe for the proportion of 20 to 29-year-olds completing higher education in science and technology.

The YEi awards for 2015 include a round-trip ticket from the airport nearest your company to Paris, accommodation in Paris and a $500 stipend for taxis and meals. YEi will provide training in the US prior to trip in France, training in Paris with knowledgable professionals with guidance on practical steps to doing business, as well as legal, fiscal, and financial sessions. YEi also provides personalized company meetings, connections with experienced French entrepreneurs, and access to a dedicated project manager to personalize and tailor your business trip overseas.
