Thomas Piketty, the economist everyone is talking about
The economist Thomas Piketty, professor at the Paris School of Economics, has jolted the debate about income inequality with his new book "Capital in the 21st Century."
As part of his Book Tour in the United States, he will be holding discussions in Boston on April 18:
- 10:30am at the Macroeconomics Seminar of Massachusetts Institute of Technology, 40 Ames St, Cambrdige
- 12:30pm at the Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business & Government of Harvard Kennedy School, Belfer Building, Weil Town Hall, 79 JFK St, Cambridge
- 3pm at the Harvard Book Store, 1256 Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge
"Capital in the Twenty-First Century" was translated from the French by Arthur Goldhammer, academic and translator from the Center for European Studies at Harvard.
