In honor of Edith Wharton’s admiration for the French aesthetic, The Mount will showcase leading French designers and artists during the summer 2011, with installations in both the interior and exterior of the house.
As a prelude to next year’s exhibit, The Mount is pleased to present the work of Xavier Veilhan in an exhibition of his sculptures this summer! Veilhan is an artist who explores the possibilities of representation.
He works in sculpture, video, digital photography, and public statuary, and his work was presented in Versailles in 2009.
Come to the Berkshires to discover a number of his pieces that will be displayed throughout The Mount’s magificent property.
